Hello, or “Kia Ora”- as they say here in New Zealand! We just wanted to give you all a quick update on our life here in Christchurch, New Zealand. While the Lamb of God Community is significantly smaller than our own People of Hope, everyone is extremely kind and welcoming which made it nice and easy to settle in. During our stay so far, we have been working with the youth of the community, helping families move from house to house due to earthquake damages, visiting the with the elderly folks in the community, participating on community retreats, meeting lots of people, a bit of traveling/sight seeing here and there, but most importantly doing our best to grow closer to God and share his love and joy with all those we encounter. We have had our ups and downs but through the difficulties we have learned to keep our focus on God because it is through him that we can do all things.
