The 13th Annual Koinonia Academy Gala took place the evening of November 2nd at the Bridgewater Marriott in Bridgewater, NJ. It was the largest gala in attendance to date! The Lumen Christi Award was given to Franciscan University of Steubenville and was accepted by Father Dave Pivonka, the current president, on behalf of the University. The Alumni Legacy Award was given to Ann (Conant) Rulon, class of ‘08. The evening was wonderful including remarks from both of the honorees, Burk Ohbayashi, principal of Koinonia, Mike Temple, president of the Board, two student speakers, one parent speaker as well as an arrangement by the Koinonia Academy High School Choir. Thank you to all who attended the gala and for your continued support of Koinonia Academy.
