|The topic of this institute is “Having a Christian Way of Life.”The SOS-NAR New Jersey Pastoral Teaching Institute (PTI) will take place June 26-28, 2014, at Koinonia Academy, 1040 Plainfield Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07060.
PTI teaching is especially important for community pastoral workers and Kairos staff to hear; it is also helpful and appropriate for any community member. Communities should make it a priority for senior leaders, pastoral workers, youth workers, and those who may serve in these capacities in the near future, to attend the PTI.
The cost of attending the NJ PTI is $150 per person.

All teaching sessions will be on the school campus, as well as dinner on Thursday, lunch on Friday, and lunch and Lord’s Day dinner on Saturday. The cost of attendance covers all of those meals and teaching materials, as well as the costs of running the institute.

Transportation to the PTI is the responsibility of individual guests, but please feel free to contact the People of Hope Community Office if you require assistance. We strongly recommend that guests who will be flying choose Newark International Airport (EWR), as the other NYC airports will add significant travel time to your trip. Coming through or around NYC to get to Plainfield will be very time-consuming.Those flying into Newark and staying at a hotel may find it most convenient and cost effective to rent a car and share a ride with others from their community to Plainfield.
